OUR STAFF Experienced physicians, highly trained clinical staff, compassionate counselors, knowledgeable Phone Center and Business Office staff, these are the committed individuals who work for your right to choose in a safe and supportive atmosphere. All our doctors are licensed by the State of Ohio and are Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to our outstanding staff of physicians, our team of ACLS Certified Nurse Anesthetists offer over 40 years of total clinical experience to our facility. Cleveland Surgi-Center employs three Registered Nurses, one is an advance practice Nurse Practitioner, and all have special training in abortion medicine. In addition, we have five Medical Assistants who are certified and have received special training in abortion medicine. Dedicated to a woman's right to make her own decisions regarding her reproductive health care, the members of the counseling staff are informed, non-judgmental, and compassionate. All counselors undergo a rigorous training course which emphasizes "patient-focused” care. Each counselor is trained to address the individual needs and issues of an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. Our Executive Director supervises our "Women In Need Fund" which seeks financial assistance for those patients who qualify. OUR FACILITY The Cleveland Surgi-Center is located on the fourth floor of a modern handicapped-accessible multi-story medical office building located in south-central Cleveland, Ohio. The suite includes a large visitor waiting area, patient reception and admitting area, laboratory, exam and counseling rooms.
